- Bothe female and Male Candidates are eligible to apply. 10% of the total seats will be reserved for male candidates. |
- Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination from Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, Central Board of Secondry Education (CBSE)/ Indian Council of Secondary Education (ICSE) or its equivalent examination as recognised by CHSE, Odisha with aggregate of 40% marks without extra optional in case of UR candidates and 35% marks in case of SC/ST candidates. |

-Those who have passed 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English core/ Elective or Healthcare Science – Vocational stream only, passing out from recognised board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE/NIOS are also eligible to apply subject to condition, they produce a certificate issued in their names by Council of Higher Secondary Education Odisha in support of such equivalence failing which their application will be out rightly rejected. |

- Those who have passed 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognised by Indian Nursing Council may also apply |

-Those who have passed ANM Training i.e. 10+1 & ½ years of training and also have passed +2 or its equivalent examination are also eligible to apply. |
|
-Applicants must have completed 17 years and be within 35 years of age. For SC/ST candidates the upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years. For ANM there is no age bar. |

-The candidate must have passed Odia as a subject at M.E./H.S.C. Examination. |
|
-Must be permanent resident of Odisha. Candidates shall have to submit a certificate of permanent Residentship of Odisha from Competent Authority of the concerned area at the time of submission of application. |
|
-Physically Handicapped category candidates should have locomotary disability of lower limbs between 40% to 50% will be taken in to consideration. |
